Whilemost professionals are capable of writing blog posts, newsletters, case studies, web content, and the like, many don’t enjoy it. It takes too long. It’s not fun. It’s too hard to find the right words. These projects often sit at the bottom of their to-do lists until the eleventh hour, when they get tossed together like an afterthought. Blogs and Twitter feeds go dormant for months. Facebook posts grow few and further between. Journal deadlines come and go. Email lists start hearing crickets.

To me, writing is not an afterthought. It is one of the things that gets me out of bed in the morning.
